I take on select graphic design projects, creating album artwork, posters, flyers, logos, and other visual materials. My work draws from collage, photography, multimedia, Swiss design, and expressive metal typography, with an emphasis on strong composition and distinctive visual identities.
Brand Identity
I’ve always been fascinated by the way visual identity can create a sense of belonging. I’ve created visual identities for a school district, a surf clothing line, and metal bands. I believe a strong brand gives people something to recognize, connect with, and remember.

ABOUT ME
I’m Andrew Steven Brown, musician, producer, audio engineer, and visual designer.
I have over 15 years of experience with independently writing, recording, and mixing heavy music, specifically old school death and black metal that is soaked in atmosphere. Additionally, I have about 3 years of visual design experience, and have been consistently practicing and premiering my designs alongside my musical projects.
I have a strong appreciation for rawness and slight imperfections in art and music, allowing the human touch to shine through. I value out-of-the-box ideas and am increasingly interested in working with bands who embrace experimentation.
Dead Pressure is the pipeline I’ve created to connect and collaborate with artists and musicians on creative projects.
I am happy to assist beyond mixing/mastering as well, with anything from songwriting and recording advice to drawing band logos and creating album art. Whether we work on a single, an EP, a full-length album, a video, or a poster, my attention and focus is locked in to YOUR vision, and we WILL get there.
I consider it an honor to be invited into another musician’s creative world. Every project is approached with care, intention, and a commitment to presenting the music as honestly and powerfully as possible.
